The Story

Founded by Miles Williams, 2025

AVNZ was built on a simple premise: technical expertise is only half the job. The other half is communication. With a background spanning IT, teaching and psychology, Miles brings a perspective to installation work that most technicians don't have, taking the time to make sure you actually understand how your gear works before he leaves.

Over 12 Years in the Industry

Miles has been in the industry since April 2014, spending years as an AV, Sky TV and networking technician with two of New Zealand's prominent AV companies before founding AVNZ, working across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato region on residential and rural installations of all kinds. That's over 12 years of real-world installs behind every job AVNZ takes on.

Bay of Plenty local, through and through. Based in Tauranga. When Miles isn't installing aerials, mounting TVs or aligning Starlink dishes, you'll likely find him running the tracks at Mount Maunganui or capturing the coast through his camera lens. That same attention to detail and local pride goes into every cable pulled and every bracket bolted.
