Common questions

TV aerial installation FAQs

Do I need a new aerial for Freeview?

If your current aerial is a UHF type in reasonable condition, it may work fine. Old VHF aerials need replacing. We can assess this when we visit.

How long does installation take?

A standard single-TV aerial install takes 1–2 hours. Multi-room installs take longer. We will give you a clear timeframe when we quote.

My picture is pixellating — do I need a new aerial?

Not necessarily. Pixellation can come from a loose cable, damaged wall plate, or faulty splitter. We diagnose the actual cause rather than just replacing everything.

Do you service rural areas?

Yes — we cover the full Bay of Plenty including Te Puke, Whakatane, Rotorua, and surrounds. Call us to confirm coverage.
