Why We Standardise on a Non-Corrosive Twin Phased Array
A phased array aerial has a wider beam width and stronger directionality than a basic Yagi, which matters across the Bay of Plenty where plenty of properties don't have a perfectly clear line of sight to their transmitter, hills, trees and neighbouring rooflines all get in the way.

You'll see single phased array aerials used by some installers, generally suited to properties very close to a transmitter with a clean, direct line of sight. We standardise on the non-corrosive twin phased array for every install instead: one aerial that performs consistently regardless of exact distance or orientation, so there's one less variable to get wrong on the day.
The non-corrosive part matters just as much as the aerial type. Standard elements and brackets don't last near the coast, salt air around Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Waihi Beach eats through budget hardware within a couple of years. Signal Testing Comes First, Not the Upsell
Before we recommend anything beyond the aerial itself, we test your actual signal on site with a proper meter, pointed at the correct transmitter for your address. Most properties get a clean result with just the aerial and nothing else.

Boosts a weak signal right at the aerial, before cable losses degrade it further. Only fitted where the site test genuinely shows low coverage, not as a default add-on.
Distribution Amplifier
Splits and boosts signal cleanly across many TV outlets. Worth it for larger homes with several TV points, unnecessary for a one or two TV household.
Amplifying a signal that's already strong doesn't improve your picture, it can overload the tuner and make it worse. We only fit amplification where the test actually calls for it.

- An amplifier fitted automatically regardless of signal strength, overloading an already-decent signal and causing a worse picture, not a better one.
